Plum Lake Quilts Class Schedule
Minimum class size is four and maximum class size is six. Payment is due at the time of registration.

Binding Class
Date: Monday, August 11th
Time: 10:00 - 3:00

Class Fee: $25
If you find yourself dreading that final step to complete your quilt this may be the class for
you! You can bring a quilt you need to bind or we will have some hospice quilts complete
and in need of binding that you can practice on. We'll learn about bias binding, straight of
grain binding as well as hand sewing and machine finishes. We will also talk about flanges
and other embellishments.
Singer Featherweight Maintenance

We are very excited to announce that Mary Wilke of Sew Smart Sewing Center will be
joining us for an afternoon of learning how to maintain and use those beautiful beauties.
Mary will teach us how to clean, oil and keep them humming. She will also talk about
accessories and all things related. This class will fill up quickly so sign up soon.
Wool Applique Christmas Tree Skirt

Christmas is coming and now is a great time to start
a new tree skirt. Our wool expert Bernice will be
teaching this class and helping you create a beautiful
skirt from start to finish from tracing patterns, choosing
threads and completing your stitching. You will
have a choice of six different designs available.
